The European Master’s program in Software Engineering (EMSE) offers scholarships to the International Master level students. The European Master’s program in Software Engineering (EMSE) is a joint program coordinated by the facilities of Computer Science of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy, Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany, University of Oulu, Finland, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. This European Master’s program in Software Engineering (EMSE) is an Erasmus Mundus course. The European Master’s program in Software Engineering (EMSE) will be taught in English at the partner universities of EMSE (University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy, Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany, University of Oulu, Finland, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain). The European Master’s program in Software Engineering (EMSE) is a two year degree program jointly offered at the University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy, Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany, University of Oulu, Finland, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. The European Master’s program in Software Engineering (EMSE) provides a jointly developed curriculum by University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy, Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany, University of Oulu, Finland, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. The curriculum developed by the European Master’s program in Software Engineering (EMSE) is fully recognised by all of these four universities.

Scholarship Information:

The PRC candidates will be offered scholarship containing amount of 24, 00,000 EUR for the session 2017- 2019 for the following path: first year UKL and second year OY. A subsistence allowance of 15.500,00 € this scholarship will cover each annual participation costs. The participation costs covers European insurance cost, social taxes, cost for one local language course per year and university services according to the local regulations of each university visited e.g.  access to library, computer laboratories, WiFi, Internet, alumni associations, university sport associations.

Level of Study:

These scholarships are available to the students who want to pursue their Master’s degree.

Field of Study:

These scholarships are available to the students who want to study Software Engineering under Erasmus Mundus program at University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy, Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany, University of Oulu, Finland, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain.

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be eligible for the scholarships European Master’s program in Software Engineering (EMSE) the applicants must met the following defined criteria:

  • The applicants must meet the given deadline.
  • The applicant must indicate the preferred mobility track.
  • The applicant must have excellent academic background. The candidates will be candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their curriculum vitae, academic grades, professional experience, and letters of recommendation.
  • The applicant must have completed their bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer science or equivalent from an internationally recognized university-level institution.
  • Applicants who have not completed their Bachelor’s degree yet, but are expected to graduate before July 31st, 2017, are allowed to apply for European Master’s program in Software Engineering (EMSE).

How to Apply:

The applicants have to apply online through European Master’s program in Software Engineering EMSE submission tool. The students along with the application form must have to provide the following documents in electronic form:

  • The scanned copy of English proficiency certificate i-e IELTS, TOEFL etc.
  • The applicants must provide the recent and updated CV in European format.
  • The applicant has to provide the proof of nationality (a copy of the passport). The passport copy will contain just the page having photo and personal data on it.
  • The applicant has to provide residence certificate, or a certificate from your place of work, study or training as a proof of residence.
  • All the certified copies of academics certificates. These university academics certificates must be translated in English if the original language is other than English.
  • The applicant must provide certified copy of transcript of study results (subjects taken during their degrees, along with the marks obtained and the number of hours/credits devoted to each subject). These transcripts must be translated in English if the original language is other than English.
  • The applicant has to provide the reference letter or letters of recommendation.

Deadline:

The opening date of these scholarships is 1st November 2016 while the closing date for the submission of application is 5th February 2017. The interviews of the applicants of the ranking list will be held from February 26th 2017 to March 10th 2017.The applicants will be notified on March 13th 2017 about admission and scholarships award.
